Mamutik Island

Mamutik Island is located off the coast of downtown Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It is also a quiet beach to laze around and unwind. It is being the smallest island of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park where people who want to avoid the crowd will love this place. Until recently, Mamutik Island is often regarded as an off-the-beaten-track island as the lack of tourist facilities had made it less popular. the beach at Mamutik Island is good enough with various sections of sandy spots are available for sunbathing and relaxing.

Mamutik Island has long scretch of white sandy beach about 200 meters in length. The sea can be choppy occasionally and the water is getting deep after 10 meters from the shore, so be careful if you do not know how to swim.

Most coral fragments are concentrated in the water. The beach is still mainly fine sandy beach that is nice to walk on.
